How do synonyms work?

You don't need the exact word shown in the answer — any accepted synonym counts. Parole checks your answer against a live dictionary that lists synonyms for each word. If your answer is a valid synonym, it's marked correct.

What happens if I skip a letter?

Skipped letters are queued for a revisit round after you finish all 26. Once you reach the revisit round, you can attempt each skipped letter again. If you skip a letter in the revisit round, it's marked as skipped and doesn't count toward your score. Skipping always resets your current streak to zero.

How is my score calculated?

Each correct answer earns 100 points. If you're on a streak of 3 or more correct answers in a row, each answer earns 150 points instead. At the end of the game, you receive a speed bonus of 1 point per second remaining on the clock. Answer all 26 letters correctly for a Perfect Game bonus of +500 points.

What languages are available?

Parole is available in English, Turkish, German, Italian, Spanish, and French. Each language has its own daily game, its own definitions, and its own leaderboard. All languages are included with Parole Pro.

How many games can I play per day?

Parole Pro gives you unlimited Daily, Blitz, and Word Clash games across all languages. Daily games reset at midnight Paris time.

Is my data private?

Yes. We use Firebase to store your game data securely. Your data is only accessible to you — other players can only see your display name and score on leaderboards. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I cancel my Parole Pro subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) — we don't handle billing directly. To cancel:

iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Parole Pro → Cancel.
Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Parole → Cancel.

You keep access until the end of your current billing period.

I found a bug — how do I report it?

Email us at parole@parolegame.com with a short description of what happened, your device model, and iOS/Android version. Screenshots or screen recordings are very helpful. We aim to respond within 48 hours.

Can I play offline?

Parole Pro subscribers can play offline — games load on first launch and scores are queued until you reconnect. An internet connection is required to use Parole without an active Pro subscription.

My score didn't save. What happened?

Scores are saved to Firebase when a game ends. If you force-quit the app mid-game, the result is lost (game state is not persisted between sessions). If your score disappeared after completing a game, there may have been a connectivity issue — email us and we'll look into it.
